Haran Narulla

Haran has been investing in companies for over a dozen years. Prior to founding Tygon Peak, Haran was a Partner at Blue Wolf Capital, a New York-based private equity firm, where he spent close to ten years. Haran joined Blue Wolf after beginning his private equity investing career at Sun Capital, a private equity firm with over $9.0 billion in assets under management. Haran spent four years as a member of the Private Equity Steering Committee for the UN PRI, which comprises both asset owners and asset managers including environmental, social and governance factors in investment decision-making. Haran began his career in finance in Salomon Smith Barney’s investment banking division advising on mergers & acquisitions and leveraged finance work for large industrial companies.
Haran received his B.S. with Honors in Business from Indiana University, and was a member of the Business Honors program. Haran is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
Ralph L. PhillipsPARTNER
Ralph has spent the past 20 years as the Chief Executive Officer of a variety of technology and industrial businesses, including four private equity-backed portfolio companies. Ralph began working with private equity portfolio companies in 2001, when he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of TECOM Industries, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital. Ralph joined Smiths Group, plc, a FTSE 100 U.K.-based engineering company in 2004 when Smiths acquired TECOM. Ralph remained with Smiths for 13 years and grew TECOM and its successor entities from ~$350.0 million in revenue to ~$700.0 million in revenue through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. Ralph was a member of the Executive Committee of Smiths Group, plc, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of several of Smiths’ portfolio companies. Ralph joined Channel Technologies Group, a portfolio company of Blue Wolf Capital, as Chief Executive Officer, in 2013. Ralph was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Ehrhardt Engineered Solutions in 2016, as well as Interim President of JWM/Coenen Mechanical in 2017. Both Ehrhardt Engineered Solutions and JWM/Coenen Mechanical are portfolio companies of Dunes Point Capital.
Prior to joining TECOM in 2001, Ralph spent 19 years with Northrop Grumman/Litton Industries in various Program Management and Business Development roles, including Vice President of Business Development for Litton Guidance, a business with ~$500.0 million in annual revenue. Ralph received his B.S. in Engineering from Stanford University and completed executive coursework in Management and Finance from Harvard University and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Egor Bulavintsev
VICE PRESIDENT
Egor spent three years at a leading middle-market M&A and restructuring advisory firm, Taiga Capital, where he was involved in numerous buyside, sellside, and restructuring assignments, as well as being involved in several operational improvement projects for clients. Prior to his investment banking career, Egor was a management consultant advising power and infrastructure companies on strategy and operations.
Egor is a graduate of Columbia Business School and received both B.S and M.A. in Corporate Finance from The Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia.
Kushal Mirpury
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Kushal has over six years of experience in finance and has played significant roles across sell-side and buy-side transactions. Prior to joining Tygon Peak, Kushal was part of the structured investments team at DMI Finance in India and led investments across sectors such as business services, niche manufacturing and infrastructure. Prior to DMI, Kushal was part of Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking team advising EMEA-based Metals and Mining companies on M&A, financing and strategic initiatives.
Kushal is an undergraduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and completed his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
